A note about our canvas luggage collection:

 T. Anthony works with ethically sourced canvas that is uniquely treated to provide durability with style.  

 Our canvas is a 3 ply material specifically designed for use on luggage. 

 - The outer layer is expertly treated and dyed with non toxic solutions that ensure the canvas colors are fadeproof and will not crock.

 - The center layer is a polymer composed of organic units joined by carbamate links. This strengthens the canvas and provides an additional level of water protection. 

- The third layer is a backing to the canvas that is a specially treated polycotton

- The three layers are laminated and fused together using hot calender rollers. 

- The result is an extremely durable material and it is stronger than ballistic nylon. 

- The fabric is treated for water repellency and stain protection with a specially designed spray.  The luggage is not fully "waterproof" however. There is NO luggage that is waterproof! Water can penetrate through zippers if the luggage is left in the rain for a long period of time.
